Erfan Zolfagharian, the manager of the project which has produced prefabricated concrete parts said thats the concrete structures, which are one of the knowledge-based products of their factory constructed using nano technology, are highly resistant while they are lighter than normal concrete structures.

He also said that the precast concrete foundations are installed in two days to construct villas while in the condition of workshop equipping, the foundations are laid in half a day, and the main parts in the house are also installed in three days.

“Concrete segments have dimensions of 3 meters high, 6 meters wide and 1.2 meters base. The production is done in the factory and when the order is finalized, the parts are placed on the trolley using a crane and sent to the project site to construct the house,” Zolfagharian continued to explain.

He further said about their precast concrete parts, explaining, “The light weight of our factor’s blocks reduces the weight of the building overall and the effective pressure of the earthquake, and also reduces the time and cost of the construcion operation.”

“The concrete blocks made in this factory because of the design of their shells with a thickness of 7.5 cm and having the space for insulation such as stone wool, sound insulation, reduce energy loss in the winter and prevent the entry of heat into the house in the summer. Due to the use of separate parts in their structure, the sound is not transmitted directly,” the project manager added.

He went on to say that nano materials have been used in the structure of the precast concrete parts, explaining “The use of nano materials has reduced the product's weight and increased its resistance in earthquakes, while these materials have given those concrete parts the hydrophobic properties.”

Saying that the product has a license from the Road, Housing and Urban Development Research Center, Zolfagharian noted, “The tests performed on our concrete parts showed that the final product has the highest resistance against earthquake force, while they have the capability to be installed very quickly.”

The project manager further said the installation a structure at an area measured 115 meters on two floors will take only 7 hours.

According to him, this product can be used to build shelters in natural disasters emergencies.
