Seyed Attaullah Seyed, a professor at Islamic Azad University, Gachsaran branch, told ANA correspondent on the sidelines of the Asr-e Omid exhibition in Sirjan that revitalizing abandoned water wells and increasing productivity of low-water wells is a priority for the "Farakavan Tetis" company.

He said that his company uses innovative methods which are different from other companies' methods that is based on drilling and excavating, adding, “In addition to water wells, there are a number of wells in industrial areas such as oil and gas companies, whose depth decreases due to time passing and chemical processes. For this reason, our technology company which is based at Gachsaran Azad University uses modern dredging and emptying technologies. It revitalizes the wells in about an hour, the proccess which used to take a month.”

“So far, the company's services have been provided for the water and sewage companies of the provinces of Bushehr, Khuzestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, and Fars and some oil companies,” the researcher added.

According to Seyed, they revived an abandoned well for Gachsaran oil company successfully at a very short time with 75 liters per second, and after their success, the company gave them eight other wells for revival.

“It does not use any chemicals or environmental pollutants to revive the abandoned and low water wells,” Seyed said

Asr-e Omid (Age of Hope) exhibition was held on the campus of Islamic Azad University-Sirjan branch in the city of Sirjan located in the Southeastern Kerman Province on May 22-June 1, 2023.
