Knowledge-Based Company Displays New Air Purifier at IRANNANO 2023 Exhibition
Hamed Banaeifard, the director of research and development department of the Iranian knowledge-based company operating in the nano field participated in an interview with ANA correspondent on the sidelines of 14th International Nanotechnology Exhibition (IRANNANO 2023), where he said, “The air purification and disinfection system based on active plasma technology performs the air purification process in the form of a separate filter and effects on pollutants in the device and is able to do so without the use of chemicals and at a lower cost and completely safe and secure compared to other systems. Disinfectant materials for air purification and disinfection of therapeutic environments, complete organization. It fully purifies and disinfects air in indoor environments at medical and organizational centers.”
“When the device is on, due to this type of technology, it performs the purification and disinfection process of air and surfaces without the need for the presence of personnel from the repective organization,” he also said.
“If the plasma filter system is placed next to filters such as HEPA or carbon filters, it can increase the durablity of these filters due to their special impact on pollutants and have a synergistic process in terms of cost management and purification efficiency,” he continued.
“This device destroys all microorganisms and pathogens in the air -different types of viruses, germs and bacteria, etc.- and it has successfully passed tests in numerous laboratories approved the Ministry of Health,” Banaeifard added.
He pointed to the advantages of air purification and disinfection system that is built using active plasma technology, saying, “This system uses new active plasma technology along with filtration modules to perform purification and cleaning processes of air and surfaces with high efficiency. Empowered by plasma technology, this system destroys and kills microorganisms including viruses, bacteria, fungi and air polluting particles and removes them from the air by affecting the dust and smoke in the air.”
“Destruction and impact on all organisms, being environmentally friendly, removing smoke and dust particles from the air, having modules to disinfect the environment, not using chemicals, reducing costs, increasing the durability of ordinary filters, being safe, instant effectiveness without need for additional module, lifelong use of active filter, revival and recovery of the module with simple washing, low energy consumption and safe, modular and capable of being installed on air conditioning systems, 24-hour operation, no need to change the filter with simple recovery are other advantages of this device,” the research said to conclud his interview with ANA.
