Iranian Company Designs, Produces Parabolic Antennas, Telecommunication Equipment

TEHRAN (ANA)- Different models of parabolic antennas in different sizes 30-450 cm and different operating frequency bands 1-70 GHz have been designed and produced by the researchers at a knowledge-based company in Iran.

“So far, hundreds of antennas have been produced and installed and put into operation in different places across the country,” Navid Mojjarrad, founder and managing director of the knowledge-based company said.

Referring to the design and production of 30 products in the field of telecommunication antennas, he said that eight products have been designed and produced for the first time in the country including different variants of telecommunication antennas in different operating frequency bands between 100 MHz-70 GHz.

Different models of parabolic antennas in different sizes 30-450 cms and in various operating frequency of 1-70 GHz are among the products that were designed and produced for the first time in the country by this knowledge-based company, Mojjarrad continued.

He said that they produce RS transmitter and receiver systems and subsystems as other products produced in the company, adding, “Various products in the field of electromagnetics and WMC are among our other products. Also, electromagnetic absorbers and shield chambers and consulting and design in the field of radio networks are other products and services provided by the company.”

He added that their firm is R & D company and has focused its activity on designing and producing telecommunication equipment that perhaps do not exist in the country.

He went on to say that their company was founded in the Growth Center of Tehran-based Sharif University of Technology.

“Mobile network operators, who need our products, are among our biggest customers. Also, satellite communication companies and other bodies that need communication and data networks are among our customers,” Mojjarrad concluded.
