Mehrdad Abedini, the manufacturer of the portable power supply, told ANA that the system is a good replacement for conventional emergency lights that are used during holidays and travels.

“The system utilizes the technology of uninterruptible power supplies and provides the opportunity for users to have access to a 220-volt electricity outlet,” he explained.

He made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event which was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 1, 2022.

The Asreh Omid event aimed to exhibit new achievements and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Azad University.

Some 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research centers, and startups took part in Asreh Omid Event.

Abedini went on to say that the power output can be used for laptops and cell phones, internet modems, security systems, and closed-circuit cameras.

Such a system with this volume and output has no Iranian or foreign counterparts. It uses a powerful lead–acid battery that can operate for two to five hours. It can be recharged using power outlets or solar panels. The system is also available in models of 300 watts to 3,000 watts.
