“At present, the nanobubble generating device manufactured by our company is used in more than 100 greenhouses in the country,” said Hossein Kazerouni, the managing director of the company.

“This year, we supplied two devices to the activists in the aquaculture sector and two devices to wastewater treatment sector. This technology has also been used for algae removal, and marketing continues in this field,” he added.

“Our products have also been exported to Armenia, Turkey, Afghanistan and Mexico, and the company has also received orders from Syria and Brazil,” Kazerouni said.

Reports said in October that Iranian researchers at a knowledge-based company had increased the capacity of greenhouse crops by 15 to 25 percent by making an efficient nanobubble generator device.

"We succeeded in acquiring the technical know-how of producing a nanobubble generator device that injects very small nanometer bubbles into water," Hamed Sotoudeh Tabaar, a graduate of mechanical engineering and the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.

He added that the nanobubble generator is a technological product used to enrich the water used in agriculture with dissolved oxygen which boosts the level of dissolved oxygen in a nano form and strengthens the roots of plants.

Sotoudeh Tabaar referred to the applications of oxygenated water, and said, “These waters are used in various industries, including aquaculture, fish and shrimp farming, various agricultural products, greenhouses, and water and wastewater treatment.”

“We can increase productivity, capacity and production in these industries by using nanobubble technology. This technology makes production more efficient and saves energy and raw materials,” he underlined.
