“In this company, we produced automatic antennas for ships, airplanes, vehicles, trains and other tactical applications,” said Mohammad Izadi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company said.

“In this industry, we have produced antennas, both transmitting and receiving antennas, that can be installed on commercial and military vessels. Another product of antennas produced by this company is receiving antennas that can receive satellite TV channels by installing them on ships or moving trains,” added the researcher.

He added that the trains on the Tehran-Mashhad and Tehran-Zanjan railways are already equipped with this type of antennas and are able to receive radio and television channels and broadcast them in the train compartments.

“One of the superiorities of this company's marine antennas is its operation without a gyro or gyroscope which is a device that is used in the construction of various sensors and helps to guide vehicles from airplanes and ships to unmanned vehicles.”

Izadi said that marine antennas usually need GPS or GNSS receivers to find heading in order to find the direction in which a vehicle or a vessel is pointing at any given moment, adding, “When two objects are moving, in order to identify each other, both devices need to identify each other's direction and height. For this, they need to have GPS and GNSS heading. Ships previously were given headings to the antennas, but recently, military and commercial ships are not interested in this, because the ship's heading is very expensive, and if there is a connection, the ship's orientation matter will face difficulties.”

“Our initiative is to do this independently from the ship which means the antennas produced in our company are equipped with gyro sensors, true North finder and GPS and work independently from the ship. We domestically produced all these hardware and software, which will ensure safety for military and commercial ships.”

The managing director of the knowledge-based firm further noted that the products they have made are banned from being imported into the country due to the oppressive Western sanctions. Meanwhile, he said, “The antennas produced by this company have been commercialized. These antennas are able to provide services to the operator by installing them on ships in any part of the world.”

Izadi went on to say that their company have produced antennas for light and ehavy vehicles such as buses and cars.
