Nasim Bahrami Sediq, a master's student in clinical psychology at Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences in Kermanshah, an inventor, a member of International Inventors Federation of Switzerland (IFIA), a gold medal holder of the World Invention Competition 2023 in Switzerland, and the writer of a book named ‘Neuron Shot’ in the field of psychology and neuroscience, has invented the mask.

"The shouting mask allows everyone to achieve their goals without harming and disturbing others and with privacy and it can also be used by musicians,” Bahrami Sediq told ANA.

“Today, given the increase of stressors in the society, the level of emotions in people has increased, and one of them is anger and one way to vent it is shouting,” she noted.

“Before invention of the mask, anger venting was done through anger venting rooms, which were accessible to very limited people. Also, vocal students need to perform their exercises at high sound intensities, which is not possible since they live in apartments, and only a few people have access to the sound studio,” Bahrami Sediq said.

Managing anger doesn't mean never getting angry. Instead, it involves learning how to recognize, cope with, and express your anger in healthy and productive ways. Anger management is a skill that everyone can learn. Even if you think you have your anger under control, there’s always room for improvement.

While anger itself isn't a mental illness, in some cases, anger can be connected to mood disorders, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions.
