Iranian Knowledge-Based Company Produces Antibacterial Dope Dyed Yarn

TEHRAN (ANA)- An Iranian female researcher and her teammates in Nafis company at Qazvin Islamic Azad University produced an eco-friendly dope dyed yarn.

On the sidelines of the exhibition "Age of Hope" (Asreh Omid Event) held and run by the Islamic Azad University in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla in late May, Parinaz Arabzadeh told ANA correspondent that Nafis Nakh Company is one of the technological units operating on the campus of the Islamic Azad University-Qazvin branch.

She also said that Nafis Nakh is operating in the field of producing polyester products with special features.

 “This knowledge-based company produces polyester sewing thread in Iran and is the only producer of dope-dyed antibacterial yarns," she added.

Arabzadeh, who is the manager of innovation and productivity improvement department of Nafis Nakh Company, said that their company started its activity in 2013 and since then, they have produced many new products such as SF, long-lasting, antibacterial, cool, warm and crystal [threads], etc.

She went on to say that antibacterial Nano products have also been used as a product in the company since 2006.

Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022 to exhibit new achievements, equipments and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
