Iran-Made Nanobubble Generator Improves Quality, Quantity of Greenhouse Roses

TEHRAN (ANA)- The nanobubble generators produced in a technological company in Iran have increased the number of rose buds and reduced the consumption of fertilizers and fungicides in a hydroponic greenhouse for growing roses.

Engineer Akbari, who has used a nanobubble generator manufactured by an Iranian technological company in his greenhouse for growing roses, underlined the good performance of the device and its positive effects on growing roses.

"We used to grow roses in the form of soil cultivation but two years ago, we used the hydroponic cultivation method due to its advantages compared to soil cultivation,” he said.

Akbari stated that many fungi and bacteria were removed in the hydroponic rose greenhouse by using the nanobubble generator, saying, “The nanobubble generator has increased the number of buds in the cultivation process and reduced the application of fertilizers to a minimum and the amount of foliar spraying has reduced to a quarter.”

Earlier, a knowledge-based nanotechnology company in Iran had succeeded to equip a significant number of greenhouses in the country with ‘NANOX’ nanobubble generators and export its product to foreign states, including Armenia.

Using water containing oxygen nanobubbles is directly effective on the health of the roots of plants which leads to better absorption of nutrients through the roots and an increase in products of plants. Also, increasing the shelf life after harvesting, improving root weight, eliminating pathogens, omission of pesticides and fungicides and increasing absorption of nutrients, including calcium and potassium, as well as the harvest weight are among the other advantages of this system.

Last year, an Iranian company manufactured a nanobubble hyper generator with a capacity of 70 liters per second upon an order by Belarus and delivered it to the country to be used in the fish breeding sector.

The generator enjoys the capability to increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in water up to 40 ppm, and the dimensions of the nanobubbles produced in it are less than 50 nanometers.

Another advantage of the nanobubble generator is that there is no need to consume excess electricity.
