Ozone Generator Indigenized by Iranian Knowledge-Based Company
“Our company has found an engineering solution to settle many environmental problems and designed and produced ozone generators and oxygen generators with various capacities,” Shadi Aziziha, the managing director and chairman of the board of directors of Fonoun Arda Sabz company, told ANA.
She underlined that the company plans to increase the capacity of devices and make new knowledge-based products, adding, “Next year we plan to increase the number of experts in the fields of electronic and control engineering and mechanical engineering.”
In a relevant development in August, researchers of a knowledge-based company in Iran had also succeeded in building an ozone gas production device which can be used for purification of water and sewage and disinfection of dried fruits, etc.
“This device was produced with the aim of disinfecting the air and water through an advanced oxidation method to reduce the existing pollutants, and it is capable of eliminating pollutants like viruses, fungi, bacteria, algae, and protozoa like giardia lamblia and cryptosporidium organisms, and infectious diseases to improve the quality of drinking and agricultural water,” Shadi Aziziha, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
Noting that the device was made for the purpose of cleaning and decolorizing the wastewater in houses and various industries, she added, "Korona discharge technology was used in production of the device which produces the highest percentage of ozone. Also, the high frequency and high voltage system has been used in this device.”
“The ozone generator can be used in houses and different industries for various purposes, including disinfection of dried fruit, petrochemical industry, wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical industry, purification and disinfection of water, deodorization of the environment, sewage treatment plants and disinfection of the water used in the livestock and poultry farms, textile industries (dye removal and COD reduction), flour and bread industries, wheat disinfection and flour bleaching, fisheries industry, water disinfection and reduction of microbial load, air disinfection and sterilization of medical and treatment centers and agricultural industries,” Aziziha said.
